Normally Freaky

I am a freak.

Not only do I admit it, I am encouraged by it. It fuels me every day to know that I am regarded as strange or abnormal. The more my behavior differs from the norm, the more I'm acknowledge as being different. But why would anyone want to be different? Why would anyone want to be a freak?

The better question to ask is, why would anyone want to be "normal?"

People who are normal don't stand out. They don't live their life as much as they can. All they try to do is fit in. When you fit in you simply do as you're told and nothing more. Freaks, on the other hand, tend to live life to the fullest, doing what they can to enjoy themselves and avoid the norm.

I don't know anyone who would be content with living their life according to a life lived by someone else. They all want to be individuals and stand out. They all want to be freaks.

Keep in mind, though, if everyone is different, that then becomes the norm.
